International Cooperation & Understanding
Annual International Service Project - Our Lions Club has raised funds to
benefit children in an orphanage/school in Jaroslaw, Poland and also, a
nursing home for severely developmentally disabled children in Brzozow,

Since 2007, we have donated new , warm clothing in the "Spirit of St.
Nicholas", to each child living at the center in Jaroslaw.  We also
contributed  to the fund in which a new addition of bedrooms, bathrooms
and classrooms were built.

In 2010,& 2012 we raised funds to benefit 60 severely disabled children from the
"Special Children with Special Needs" international service project.

Both of these charitable humanitarian causes were helped through the
volunteer work of our Lion members at the Annual Polish Heritage Festival
in Hamburg, NY.
